    Our Values

California Riptide is looking for committed players who have a passion to play collegiately.  We stress commitment, team values, family and hard work.  Discipline and organization is part of every day life and we hold our players accountable.  Our organization takes this very seriously and take it very seriously seeing our players move on to college.  It's up to the player to make sure they follow their collegiate goal.  We are here to help them along the way.  We require 100% commitment and accountability for each and every player.

What does that mean? Good academic grades, additional work away from team practice. Our staff takes this serious we expect players as well as families to take the commitment of softball seriously too.

College does it work.  Your player will have to commit to academics as well as working hard at the position they play including defensively.  We work hard here at California Riptide to help our players achieve collegiate placement.  If your player works hard, we work hard right along with them.

Riptide Alumni ~ Working Hard In College

2017 Graduates....This is our 3rd graduating class and in a few weeks they will all be off to college.  Working hard in the books to achieve their ultimate goal as well as playing ball collegiately! California Riptide wishes you ladies the best!

According to NCAA 1.5 % of high school student athletes play collegiate softball.  It's hard work and dedication and we applaud all student athletes on COMMITING to their passion!  Determination and setting goals is a key factor in order to be successful.  There is college for everyone and it's the best feeling knowing you have mastered your goal! #wearecariptide

Wishing the best for our 2017 Graduates!

    Giving back to the community!

2016 Freddie, 2015 Damari Simon, 2015 Sierra Sabathia, 2016 Carina Carrasco

Part of our Gold program is instilling in our players the importance of giving back to their community; Saturday morning working with our youth.  Mentoring is a part of what we like to instill in our players.  We encourage our players to be active in the community and give back what they have learned.  This was a fun day for the young girls and our players!
